Students from grades PreK-5th grade had the opportunity to receive a free book from the Reading Is Fundamental AND have different volunteers from the Atlanta Airport read a story to them and discuss what they do at the airport.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Reading club at Anderson Elementary competing at the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl! They won 1st place in our district-level competition

The Clayton County Water Authority honored them last week by giving them a certificate and an award after they presented their Science Project.
It is noted that the scholars also won First Place Novice (Elementary) for Clayton County and will be advancing to State Competition at the end of this month.
CCPS commands these outstanding students for their initiative regarding this project. A special thank you is also extended to all of the teachers and parents who helped make this Science Fair Project a success.
