2025-2026 Points of Pride

1. 2026 First Place Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl

Book club members won 1st place in our district-level competition, held in February, 2026, at Kendrick Middle School. Thank you to the coaches and students for a great day of competition demonstrating the value of literacy!
2. Anderson came in 1st place in the district on First in Math
Jaiden in Wilson-Rayford's class came in 2nd place in the district for 3rd grade FIM. We also had several students to place in the top 3 for the Math Game and Math Art competitions.
3. 25-26 AR King and Queen Readers

Students with the HIGHEST Accelerated Reading points for the school year received a trophy, a bike and were recognized as the King and Queen of reading at AndersonES.

5. Future Builders Program to Spark Early Career Interest in Construction

The program connects classroom lessons in math, science, and reading with real-world applications through projects like raised garden beds and birdhouses. Students also explore careers in construction, learn teamwork and problem-solving, and engage with local professionals who share industry expertise.
