Homework: Nov 11-15 

Unit 2 Review 


Spelling Homework: Write the spelling words using their spelling choice board.  Students should turn in spelling HW on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Therefore each word should be written 20x's each by Friday.  

Students are give a handout each week with their spelling and vocabulary words.  

Reading: Unit 2 Review 

Vocabulary Homework:  Monday-Thursday. Students are to complete KIMS Chart for each vocabulary word.  Thursday student will write a story using all vocabulary words.  Turn in all 8 KIMS Charts on Friday and your Story.  Students are give a handout each week with their spelling and vocabulary words.  

Math: Students will receive a math handout with activities to practice each day of the week.  

Social Studies: Unit 2: European Exploration: Concise Curriculum


Science: Unit 2: Pollution and Conservation 

Online programs: 
I-ready- online instruction: I ready is used daily in class and the students are required to log 45 min each week in math and reading.  

During Holidays:  For students who have internet access. Students are aware of how to login to rapid identity(My clayton Portal) https://my.clayton.k12.ga.us

 

Accelerated Reader: Is a program we are using in the classroom to increase comprehension in reading.  Please encourage your child to read books at home daily as they are to take 4 AR tests weekly.  In addition, if you have any library fines please take care of these as soon as possible to ensure your child may continue to check out books in the library. 

 AR- will be included in the grade book each nine weeks.  36 books are to be read by the end of the nine weeks for an average grade.  

Education Galaxy: Is a program we are using in the classroom to practice skills in all content areas.  We will be using this program in class.  Students are also able to practice online at home. I encourage them to practice at home.
