So Who are the ESOL Teachers??

Dr. Caldwell

I am the lead ESOL teacher for this school year. I am a native New Yorker (Manhattan), who started in the field of Education as a high school senior, working with a third grade class at the Don Pedro Albizu Campos School (P.S. 161, Manhattan). Next, I joined the United States Air Force, and honorably served during Desert Storm. Thanks to the U.S. Air Force, I completed my undergraduate and graduate education in Elementary Education and Curriculum and Instruction respectively in Wichita, Kansas. After moving to Clayton County, Georgia in July 2002, I completed my Educational Specialist and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. I began employment with the Clayton County Schools, teaching second and third grades at Lake Ridge Elementary in 2002. This is where I gained tremendous exposure, interest, and inspiration to become an ESOL teacher. Overall, I'm beginning my 23rd year of teaching and I'm glad to be back with the Clayton County School System, and working in this warm-hearted community.
